We’re more than just a club. We're a movement of high school students fighting for a better Tennessee, one action at a time.

Crowded protest with diverse group holding signs against gun violence, set outdoors with trees. Orange balloons add color to the scene.
Take action on meaningful issues important to our generation

Here’s what High School Dems actually do:

🗳 We Get Out the Vote

  • Register students to vote

  • Knock doors and make calls for Democratic candidates

  • Host voter education drives

📢 We Organize for Change

  • Plan rallies, protests, and issue-based campaigns

  • Advocate for policies that matter to our generation like climate justice, reproductive freedom, and gun reform

  • Meet with local leaders to express our concerns

🧠 We Build Leadership

  • Start and run chapters at our schools

  • Lead statewide committees and initiatives

  • Learn public speaking, strategy, and grassroots organizing

🤝 We Build Community

  • Connect with other passionate students across Tennessee

  • Attend summits, trainings, and town halls

  • Support each other—and have fun doing it

TNHSD gives you the platform and the power to lead.
