👨‍🎓The Tennessee High School Democrats (TNHSD) is a student-led movement building youth power across the state. We believe in the leadership of young people and in the urgency of organizing for a better, more just Tennessee.

💪We exist to empower high school students to take action, speak up, and lead — whether that’s on campus, in local government, or at the ballot box. As a chapter of the national High School Democrats of America (HSDA), we’re part of a larger network fighting for progress across the country.​​

🧬 Our Story

TNHSD was founded by high school students who believed their voices—and their votes—could make a difference. What started as a small group of organizers has become a statewide force for political education, action, and leadership. Each year, we welcome new students into the movement. Some start chapters at their schools. Others lead rallies, organize fundraisers, or help shape local policy. All leave with skills, friendships, and a belief that they can change the world—because they already have.
